Spring trends are always pretty predictable (florals/nautical... yawn), so this year I'm eager to try something different. Moving on from A/W 2010's obsession with all things Camel, last year's S/S2011 shows were awash with apricot hues and flesh toned garments which championed the simplicity and elegance of minimalism with a more feminine 70s inspired twist.

I really like the classic 70s vibe of some of these pieces like the ruffled chiffon blouses and the lady-like accessories, and I've got my eye on the Michael Kors chronograph watch and the pink Peter-Pan collared blouse in particular to update my wardrobe and inject a bit of sophistication into my look!
love everything you've picked here, i love these neutral colours! i've seen a watch similar to this one somewhere but it was Marc Jacobs and i loved that as soon as i saw it! xx
ReplyDeleteI love all the pastel colours coming out now, especially blush tons. Definitely a nice change from camel

Is that a Michael Kors watch I spy!? WANT. You should get back on it with your blog - this is a great wishlist!

I agree with you about wanting to try something a bit different for Spring and I love that apricot-y shirt. And that watch is so gorgeous.
